More than 1,500 people join a colourful carnival parade. The carnival includes a parade of people in Ao Dai (Vietnamese traditional long dress). Ethnic people bring special performances to the event. The debut version of Hanoi Autumn Festival from September 29 to October 1 runs with the theme of “Thu Hà Nội – Đến để yêu” (Come to fall in love) with the aim of honouring heritage sites and landscapes, promoting cultural values and tourism products of the capital, as well as attracting more tourists.
