Vietnam Offers Electronic Visas to All Nationalities

The Vietnamese government has issued a new resolution, which replaces Resolution 79 dated May 25, 2020 and Resolution 60 dated April 27, 2022. This resolution, which came into force on Tuesday, allows foreigners to enter and exit Vietnam with an e-visa at 13 selected airports, 16 border gates, and 13 seaports. The airports that accept e-visas are Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat, Cam Ranh, Da Nang, Cat Bi, Can Tho, Phu Quoc, Phu Bai, Van Don, Tho Xuan, Dong Hoi, Phu Cat, and Lien Khuong. For border gates, e-visas are applicable at Tay Trang, Mong Cai, Huu Nghi, Lao Cai, Na Meo, Nam Can, Cau Treo, Cha Lo, La Lay, Lao Bao, Bo Y, Moc Bai, Xa Mat, Tinh Bien, Vinh Xuong, and Ha Tien. The seaports that accept e-visas are Hon Gai, Cam Pha, Hai Phong, Nghi Son, Vung Anh, Chan May, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Quy Nhon, Dung Quat, Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh City, and Duong Dong. Vietnam’s Central Highlands Hosts Maiden Off-Road Race

The SaiLun Cup 2023 is a prestigious event organized by the Dak Lak Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and the People’s Committee of Buon Don District. It is the largest event of its kind in the Central Highlands province and will run until August 17th. HAGL FC Struggles to Reach Out to Deceased Brazilian Footballer’s Mother

On Sunday afternoon, a tragic accident occurred in Pleiku City, Gia Lai Province, Vietnam’s Central Highlands, resulting in the loss of three individuals. Among them were Paollo, an esteemed member of HAGL FC, as well as assistant coach Duong Minh Ninh and healthcare specialist Dao Trong Tri. The accident involved one four-seater car and two large trucks. During the completion of repatriation procedures, Paollo’s coffin is temporarily housed at the funeral home located within Hoang Anh Gia Lai Hospital in the province. Celebrate Autumn in Hanoi with September Festival

Xoan Singing: A Living Intangible Heritage of the Local Community

Xoan singing, a traditional Vietnamese folk music genre, was included on the UNESCO Urgent Safeguarding List in 2011 due to a decline in its appreciation, especially among the younger generation. Efforts made by local communities and national authorities have successfully revived and preserved Xoan singing. In Phuong Lau Commune, Viet Tri City, elders are passing down the art of Xoan singing to the younger generation in a small house located in Xoan An Thai Ward. Bui Viet Hao and Bui Nhu Quynh, both born into a family of Xoan singers, were introduced to the art at an early age by their grandparents and mother. Having developed a passion for Xoan singing, they now perform the music genre in various places and are eager to preserve it for future generations. Newly Constructed Classrooms with PP23 Funds Delivered to Phu Yen Vocational College

US Ambassador to Vietnam Marc Knapper recently attended the inauguration ceremony of three classrooms at Hoa Dinh Tay elementary school in the south central province of Phu Yen. The classrooms were funded by the PP23. These three classrooms, with a total area of about 107m2, were constructed by 29 members of the PP23 construction team in 47 consecutive days from July 2023 onwards.
